Fox Creek Old Vine Shiraz is sourced from a single McLaren Vale vineyard planted in 1910. The gnarly old vines are harvested by hand when the fruit's flavours, tannins and acids reach maturity.

The grapes are open fermented on skins with twice daily hand plunging. The wine completes fermentation in barrel for added integration and complexity.

Maturation is for 20 months in French oak barrels sourced from coopers in Bordeaux and Burgundy. Barrel selection at all stages of fermentation and maturation ensure only the best parcels are chosen for the final blend.

Deep red purple, Fox Creek Old Vine Shiraz has intense fruit flavours with a structured finish of focused tannins and balanced natural acidity. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
